Quickie
Reason #583,167 that I love my husband — He lets me be delusional from time to time. Case in point, the following gchat conversation:
Me: hey, maybe the power will go out today from all the thunder. 
Joe: you shouldn’t want that…the response is to evacuate
Me: and go home!
Joe: no, not really — wait for power to be restored
Me: not if it looks like it’ll be a long time. cuz they don’t want everyone charging downtime
Joe: that also means we get paid less, and most people are on salary
Me: wah. quit being so practical.
Joe: sorry. ahem yes! They will let us go! and give us an automatic raise
Me: yay!!

Just a quick post today, because I’ve got a lot going on, and because I want to remind you of two things:

LiLu and about 30 other amazing bloggers have teamed up this week in support of another blogger who is dealing with a really tough situation — her boyfriend has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Go here (or here or here or here and probably a bunch of other places) to see the kind of support that is circulating all over the blogosphere for Brandy today. This kind of thing is the reason I love blogging.
This makes me laugh especially hard, because that could totally be a conversation between me and Allan, except I’d be Joe and Allan would be you… O.O
We share the same thinking rationale. =)
That video is the best is it not? Things like that make me so glad that I’m party of such an amazing community.
haha, i get super excited if the power goes out here for just TWO SECONDS because, uh, we might get to home, right!? =) We are so meant to be friends.
Hahaha I love those moments. And the Brandy project made me so happy – I emailed my whole office the story and the video this morning
i was wondering what was going on with that. obviously i suck at blogging and don’t keep up with anyone who knows anything. haha.
