To tide you over.
While you’re all so patiently waiting for the DC Princess and I to put the final touches on our blog swap posts for today, I thought I’d share a little insight into my husband’s mind with you…
Many people see Joe as a pretty strong-willed, snarky and sarcastic guy. Of the two of us, it’s no surprise who the crier is in this little family of ours. (But just in case you’re not sure — it’s me.)
But last week, I received a note in the mail from Proactiv that basically said they wanted my business again, as I had been using the product for a couple of years and stopped about eight months ago. And on the front of the card they sent was this image:

Let’s get a better close-up on that sad little puppy:

So here’s the kicker. Joe took one look at the sad puppy’s face and became legitimately bummed out. I mean, if I didn’t know any better, I’d say he was so affected that if I’d just poked him in the arm, he would have broken down in tears.
(Okay, so maybe I’m exaggerating a little with that last part.)
Anyway, it just goes to show that even the strongest guy can be softened by sad puppy dog eyes.
I’m still workin’ on mine.
(PS – Anyone else reminded of Strong Bad’s “Lil’ Brudder” drawing after seeing the picture above?)

Aw, I can’t look at things like that without feeling sad/bad. It’s amazing what will make a boy sad, isn’t it!?
I recently bonded with a darn pony at the volunteer stuff I’m doing and now I can’t wait to go back and see her. :-/
It’s just the balloon and tears…he was like, “I made a party for you…where are you?”
Pardon me…I have some food in oven.
Who knew that Joe could get emotional over sad puppy dog eyes?
please tell me you re-ordered so that puppy could stop being so sad.
hahahaha oh strongbad…
“I don’t know what I’m doing with my life…”
haha
thanks for the laugh tab
I LOVE HOMESTARRUNNER!!!!!
