Truth Tuesday: The Couch Potato Edition
Are you ready for this?
Yes…I am ACTUALLY posting this week’s Truth Tuesday ON A TUESDAY! And at 5 a.m., no less. My secret?
I’m actually writing this on Monday night, and scheduling it to go up in the morning.
Don’t judge me.
(Before I reveal last week’s answer, I want to say a GREAT BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my fabulous mother-in-law! Woohoo!!)
Anyway, last week’s round was a doozy, apparently… because only ONE person got it right: Helly! The answer is #3. I’m not trying to brag or anything; it’s just that I’m not any better or worse at singing harmonies whether the lead vocalist is male or female. I can generally find a decent harmony no matter what. The first two statements are true: I am a terrible runner, but I can go three miles on the elliptical machine like nobody’s business. (It’s because of my asthma, I tell you.) And I really am terrible at getting back to people on calls, emails, texts, etc. Almost as bad as I am at commenting on people’s posts. Seriously, about 75% of my “unread” in Google Reader are posts I HAVE read, and want to comment on, but just haven’t gotten around to it. Terrible, I tell you. But I’ll do it! (Eventually.)
Let’s move on, shall we?
This week’s edition of Truth Tuesday is all about Hulu. Please tell me you know Hulu. Your life is not complete until you have experienced Hulu.
Okay, maybe it’s not that big of a deal to you people who own TVs and stuff. But Joe and I watch all our TV shows on Hulu, and we love it. Anyway, I’m copping out keeping it simple this week on Truth Tuesday: I’m just going to list three shows that Joe and I both watch regularly via Hulu.com, and your job is to guess which one we actually DON’T watch. Easy peasy.
- Dollhouse
- Heroes
- Warehouse 13
(Note: We watch a lot more than three shows on Hulu. It’s kind of ridiculous. Maybe next week I’ll tell you ALL of the ones we keep up with…)
Guess away, bleaders!*

I don’t know what Dollhouse is, but I can’t imagine that it would be something Joe would want to watch, so I’ll guess #1.
I’m guessing Warehouse 13… because I adore both Heroes AND Dollhouse
Happy birthday to your MIL! It’s the best birthday date every in my humble opinion, probably because it’s my birthday too =) I swear September birthdays are the best. Anyway, that’s not what you want to hear about!
I don’t know what Warehouse 13 is but I’m going to guess Warehouse 13. Given Joe’s background in computers & etc, I’d assume he likes SciFi so Hereoes and Dollhouse would be yes’s.
And Hulu is amazing.
I say #1 dollhouse, just b/c i like the other two! ;o)

A week later *I’m* finally getting around to commenting!
And I guess your mom WAS going for the right answer in last week’s post, and just put down the wrong number in her comment… does that count?
Hulu. Ah yes. Hulu is our mainstay. We have no cable, and Hulu makes an excellent substitute. The only thing I miss is “Law and Order”, especially the “SVU” series, but, I guess we’ve been going without cable for over a year now, and got over our withdrawals pretty quickly.
I can’t even begin to venture a guess for this week’s question, because I’ve never heard of any of them (well, I HAVE heard of “Heroes”, but only in passing– i.e. via friends’ FB statuses crowing about the latest episodes!). Ah heck, I’ll say (#2)”Heroes” just because it seems to be the most popular one out there
My new favorite person is…Helly. So gracious of her to see that I meant to reply that #3 was the lie last week.
i really hope that it’s heroes that you don’t watch. because i’d have a lot more respect for you. (and no, i haven’t looked at the answer since i’m a week (or more) behind). i just have a seriously unfounded hate of heroes. that’s all.
